Since 1995, the Viola Startzman Clinic (VSC) has been dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our community. We offer a wide range of services—including medical and dental care, sexual and reproductive health, wellness education, medications, specialty health services, and essential daily resources—at no cost to those who qualify. As we’ve grown, so has our ability to serve. Today, we’re proud to welcome patients with Medicaid, Medicare, and most major insurance plans, as well as providing services free of charge to qualifying patients.
In July 2017, VSC proudly became officially accredited as a Rural Health Clinic, further strengthening our commitment to accessible, inclusive care for all
At the Viola Startzman Clinic, we offer a wide range of thoughtful, comprehensive care to support your whole health. Our services include medical, dental, behavioral health, sexual and reproductive healthcare, and a variety of specialty services. Beyond clinical care, we understand that wellness extends beyond the exam room—which is why we also have resources connecting patients with essential everyday support such as food assistance, transportation options, housing help, and more.

At the Viola Startzman Clinic, we welcome all individuals seeking care—regardless of insurance status. While our roots are deeply grounded in serving as a vital safety net for individuals and families with limited income or access to care, our mission has expanded to include patients with Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, and those who choose to self-pay. We believe everyone deserves compassionate, quality healthcare, and we’re here to support you—no matter your circumstances.
For those who are uninsured or have high deductibles and may be unable to afford care, we offer a Charitable Care Program. This program provides free or reduced-cost services to eligible patients who reside in Wayne or Holmes Counties and can provide documentation showing household income at or below 250% of the federal poverty level.
