Viola Startzman Clinic (VSC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Yoder DNP, FNP-C, as its new Executive Director. Mark brings a wealth of experience in healthcare and a deep commitment to serving the community, making him an excellent fit for this leadership role.

Mark, a Wooster resident, has served VSC as a Nurse Practitioner this past year and has an extensive background in primary care, urgent care, and wound care services. He is a Clinical Adjunct Professor at Walsh University in its Family Nurse Practitioner program and serves as a preceptor for nurse practitioner students. He is also working to obtain his Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification to better serve our community’s mental health needs. Mark previously held positions at Bloomington Medical Services and the Cleveland Clinic, where he demonstrated his dedication to advancing healthcare access and improving patient outcomes.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Joel Chupp, RN, for his outstanding service as Interim CEO throughout the process of fulfilling this role. Joel provided exceptional leadership and guidance to the organization during this time. His dedication ensured the continuation of operations and maintained the high standard of care that VSC is known for.

As VSC’s new Executive Director, Mark is eager to build upon the clinic’s legacy of providing accessible, high-quality healthcare and wellness services to the community. He expressed his enthusiasm for working alongside VSC’s dedicated team to address the evolving healthcare and wellness needs of our community.
