Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers provide a diversity of skills and services to support our Clinic. We welcome medically licensed volunteers with regular schedules to those just willing to help wherever and whenever needed. If you are looking for a way to give back to our community and to those who need it most, consider partnering with us as we strive to improve the lives of others in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.

Volunteers must be 18 years old or older, or serve with an accompanying adult.

Current Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Individuals to Interpret for: Spanish & American Sign Language on an as-needed basis​
  • Dentists & Dental Hygienists
  • Nurses to serve as care coordinators for high risk patients
  • Nurses for chart review and patient follow-ups
  • Occasional light maintenance worker
  • Individuals to clean the clinic 3-4 times per quarter
    • No experience required!​
  • Office Projects:​
    • Making Patient phone calls​
    • Answering phones
    • Chart Maintenance
    • Stocking Supplies

Do I need to have a medical or dental background to volunteer at VSC?
No! We need folks with all kinds of talents to operate the clinic.

What training will I receive?
You will receive task-specific training as well as a tour of the clinic to help you fully understand the scope of our operations and our day-to-day procedures.

What kinds of clothes should I wear to volunteer?
Please wear clean and comfortable clothes– casual clothes, such as jeans and sneakers, are fine!
