Jaime Parsons
Chief Executive Officer
Jaime Parsons, MA, MBA, CFRE, CRHCP, wears many hats, both personally and professionally. An avid community volunteer, a vocal advocate for the underserved, a fearless leader, a passionate collaborator, and a driver of change are all ways she has been described. At the Viola Startzman Clinic, she is our Chief Executive Officer, a role she has served in since 2010. In this position, Jaime has been a visionary and strategic leader, challenging the traditional boundaries of charitable clinics, and navigating the Viola Startzman Clinic through significant growth and expansion. Committed to high quality in everything she does, she always has her eye on making The Viola Startzman Clinic the best it can be to serve the needs of the patients who consider us part of their healthcare team.
Jaime has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology / Athletic training, and two Master’s degrees in Organizational Leadership and Business Administration. She is a Certified Rural Health Professional and a Certified Fund Raising Executive. She serves on the boards of the Ohio Rural Health Association and the Ohio Charitable Healthcare Network. She also serves as a member of the Wayne County Family and Children’s First Council Executive Committee, on the advisory committee for Catholic Charities of Wayne and Ashland Counties and as a member of the Wayne County Schools Career Center Institutional Advisory Committee. Jaime is also a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), volunteering to work as an advocate for children in Ohio’s foster care system.
Outside of work and professional commitments, Jaime is a certified swim and dive official and can often be found on a pool deck officiating swim meets. She also enjoys getting lost in a good book and staying there for hours. She loves to travel, try every pizza she can find, and makes an amazing charcuterie board. She doesn’t relax well, so when she has a free minute or two, she is usually volunteering in some capacity with the many parent and booster clubs she is a part of, or the various community organizations she believes in.
Jaime and her husband Bryan have been married for over 20 years and are parents to two children and a very needy golden doodle who thinks she is a human.
