Many of our patients are under-insured, have high deductible insurance, and in some cases, no insurance coverage at all. We depend on your financial support to help us bridge the gap in providing high-quality and skilled medical, dental and psychiatric care in a professional and welcoming environment to all who walk through our doors regardless of ability to pay.

Quality healthcare by Staff and Volunteers

Everyone is welcome at The Viola Startzman Clinic! We are grateful to be able to help individuals and families that are experiencing financial or health care challenges. Our generous donors make it possible to offer a “Charitable Care Program” which provides discounted or free care to qualifying patients.

The VSC has a well-established referral system in place with over fifty local specialists who treat VSC patients at their facilities at low or no cost to the patient.

A father and son needed medical care but they had no insurance. We set up a virtual appointment the same day we found out to screen them for eligibility for our Charitable Care Program, and they qualified for free care. They came in to our primary care provider the next day.

The child was having significant respiratory problems and was diagnosed with RSV. The father admitted to being a high need diabetic who had not taken any medicine in four months.

They both left the clinic armed with education, medication and supplies to help manage their medical conditions.

IRA Charitable Rollover: If you are 70 1/2 or older, you may benefit from making your gift directly from your IRA as part or all of your required minimum distribution. To use the IRA Charitable Rollover, please contact your IRA administrator about either making a direct transfer to The VSC or have the administration send a check, payable to The Viola Startzman Clinic, directly to us. (To be tax free, the gift must come directly to The Viola Startzman without passing through your account.)
