The Viola Startzman Clinic, originally opened as "Healthcare 2000 Community Clinic," is registered with the IRS as a 501c(3) not-for-profit organization. The Clinic's Federal Tax Identification Number is 34-1758151.   

The Viola Startzman Clinic is able to provide $4.00 worth of care for every $1.00, and over 85% of the Clinic's annual budget goes toward program-related expenses.

The Clinic also relies on the following revenue sources:

     * Income raised through various fundraising events

     * Income generated by our annual gift campaign

     * Funding from the Orrville Area United Way and the United                   Way of Wayne and Holmes Counties

     * Competitive grant funding from various private foundations

     * Income collected through billing insurance for those patients
          who have eligible insurance

Over half of our patients are uninsured or have high deductibles that make health care unaffordable to them. Less than 2% of our budget in 2016 came from insurance reimbursement.  We are so grateful for our donors who allow us to serve over 4,000 patients each year, regardless of their ability to pay!
